Our group of 14 friends visited Il Vicario’s cooking class in Tuscany this week. It was fantastic and one of the highlights of our trip. We made and enjoyed delicious pasta, bruschetta, sauces and chicken. The food was paired with excellent wine. Katia was so warm, friendly and humorous. Wow, what a great evening of cooking, learning and friendship with Katia. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Tuscany. And we loved her olive oil so much, we brought some home !!

We had such a wonderful time during this cooking class. It was one of our favorite things we did during our whole two week trip. Katia was so kind and funny and an excellent teacher. It felt like she was a friend who let you into her kitchen to teach you how to make family recipes. The setting was so romantic and nice as well. And the food was excellent. Simply excellent. A genuine, Tuscan, homely atmosphere whilst you prepare delicious food with Fulvio. He explains the history behind dishes whilst everyone gets involved in the cooking. The Tuscan cooking class by Fulvio came at the end of our Tuscany holiday. Our three adult sons may have been sceptical at the start but after competing to make the longest, most evenly roled Pici (the jury is still out) and then learning about olive oils and application of garlic for the best garlic bread, and of course eating the great food, they were hooked. Fulvio‘s explanations were fabulous and we are thrilled to receive the recipes. Recommended for all lovers of good food!
